Dr. Stewart grew up in Long Island, New York, and completed her undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University. She received her degree in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. Shortly after graduation, she moved to upstate NY and accepted a position practicing emergency and companion animal medicine. She remained upstate for 8 years, where she met her now-husband, Chris. In January 2020, her family decided it was time for the next chapter and moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where she accepted a position at Peachtree Hills Animal Hospital.
Dr. Stewart enjoys fostering relationships with clients and, in doing so, providing the best possible patient care for their furry family member. Her professional interests include dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and preventative medicine. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys hanging out with her husband, son, dogs- Charli (Belgian Malinois mix) and Apollo (Chow chow/Bloodhound mix), and their cat Mando. They enjoy trying new cuisine, CrossFit, hiking, and traveling. Dr. Stewart is a CrossFit level 1 trainer, and when you cannot find her at the office, you can likely find her in her garage gym working out.
